Small-Quadrotor Drone With Hand Gesture Guidance
Developed an IMU-based wearable controller for real-time drone guidance via hand gestures. Built and configured a drone with INAV flight controller for stable indoor use with servo-actuated mechanism for payload operations.
UAV-based Land and Forest Fire Detection System
Developed an electronic nose with sensor array to detect fire indicators like CO, CO₂, and H₂. Used neural network (ANN) to calculate real-time fire spot probability from sensor data and deployed the e-nose on UAV for geospatial mapping.
Adaptive Filter Implementation on FPGA
Designed and implemented an adaptive filter in Verilog, synthesized on a Lattice iCE40 FPGA for real-time signal processing applications with optimized resource utilization.
Hybrid VTOL-Fixed Wing Flight Controller
Architected and developed a novel flight controller for a hybrid VTOL-Fixed Wing UAV. Built on an ARM Cortex-M7 with custom firmware using ChibiOS, an autonomy stack with computer vision, and a robust MAVLink/Protobuf communication backbone.
IoT-based Early Warning System
Developed backend using RESTful API and MongoDB for IoT-based early warning system. Led firmware development for environmental data capture using LoRaWAN network with Git and Docker workflow.
ESP32-based Environmental Data Logger
Developed ESP32-based data logger for environmental data collection (weather and air pollution). Built backend for analytics using Node.js and PostgreSQL, deployed on on-premise server for BRIN research.
